Craig Raucher's basketball journey began in his youth, when he played on local courts before advancing to organized and collegiate levels. That early passion laid the foundation for his most significant legacy: the SIBL. Under his stewardship, the league shifted its focus from structured competition to community, sportsmanship, and personal growth. What's astonishing is that, even in his seventies, after undergoing double knee replacement surgeries , Craig remains a regular on-court fixture. At 71, he continues to play full-court games twice a week, sharing the court with men decades his junior. His dedication is proof that age doesn't diminish skill, determination, or heart.
